• Run-on sentences.

Local changes to things like sentence structure and phrasing to ensure meaning is conveyed clearly and concisely. I make suggested changes for:

• Redundancy of idea or word choice.

• Clarity of meaning.

• Concision.

• Formatting (consistency of font, headings, and spacings).

• Consistency in tone and audience.

Structural and logical changes to the text—reformulating arguments and reordering information or paragraphs. I make suggested changes for:

• A clear, concise, and logical thesis statement.

• Flow within a paragraph and transition statements between paragraphs.

• Order of paragraphs, making sure the outline of the document follows the thesis statement (or given prompt) and logic of the paper.

• A strong conclusion that supports and restates the thesis statement.

• General suggestions for improvement.

In-line edits, comments, and a rubric with suggestions for high-level revision.

Entire document may be resubmitted once for follow-up feedback after changes have been implemented.
